Since he was young, New York City native AV One was always fond of drawing and much fantasized about being an artist. Not formally exposed to art school he learned his skills on the streets of New York and through the knowledge and valuable experience of people around him.

Graffiti has been a major influence on his life, and by mixing it with elements of hip hop
Anthony found his base and from there persisted predominantly by experimenting and
letting his passion take over.
“Like any art, I love Graffiti art when it’s new and inventive,
whether its art or vandalism” says Anthony who believes in its pure, raw, primitive energy.

His technique consists of photorealistic images such as silkscreen, mixed with paint,
markers, spray cans, collaging and oxidation, just about anything he can get his hands on.
A lot of his techniques are inspired by what catches his eye, whether it is a vandalized wall
corroded with rust and mildew,a simple urban beauty, or the chaotic aspects of living.

But unlike a lot of artists of our time, Anthony produces every part of his art in-house,
from the actual making of his silk screens, to printing, framing and working any other
material he may add to his art.
Every inch of his creation happens within his control,
pushing him to constantly experiment with new mediums.
